What is next, and what we will not build.
Dates on roadmaps move. Rather than quietly missing them, we update this page and say what changed. Below is what is being built now, what is planned, what we are still thinking about, and a list of things we have decided against so you can plan around their absence rather than waiting for them.

Things we are genuinely undecided about.
If one of these matters to you, telling us moves it. We keep a count and it is the main input into what gets built.
Website and CMS builder
A full page builder in the Odoo mould. Large to build, and most people already have a website they like. Currently we ship a storefront and SEO pages only.
Public plugin API
Today all modules are first-party by design. A documented extension API would enable an ecosystem and would also fragment the upgrade path. Genuinely undecided.
Deeper AI features
Natural-language reporting and next-best-action. Interesting, and we will not put anything near the ledger that a human has not confirmed.
Learning management
Course delivery for internal training. Adjacent to HR, some demand, low confidence that we would do it well.
PostgreSQL support
Better for large ledgers. Directly conflicts with running on shared hosting, which is our whole position. Probably not.
Managed hosting
We are repeatedly asked. It would mean holding customer data, which is the thing this product exists to avoid. Currently no.
Deliberately not building
So you can plan around these rather than wait for them: IoT device integration, VoIP telephony, a cloud or SaaS edition, industry verticals for healthcare, education or agriculture, a public plugin marketplace, and native desktop applications.
Each is a real product in its own right rather than a feature, and building any of them would be at the expense of the twelve modules that already exist. If one of these is essential to you, we are not the right choice and we would rather you knew now.
About the roadmap.
Do roadmap features cost extra?
No. Everything on this page is included in the same $9 per company per month when it ships. We do not have tiers, and we do not intend to introduce them by putting new modules behind a higher plan. New modules arrive as updates.
How do you decide what to build?
Mostly by counting. Every feature request through the contact form goes into a list with the requester attached, and the count is the largest single input. After that: whether it unblocks a purchase, whether it is legally required somewhere, and whether it fits a product that has to run on shared hosting.
What if a date slips?
We change it here and note it in the next changelog entry. Targets are quarters rather than dates precisely because a small team with a security release to ship will always ship the security release first.
Can I pay to have something prioritised?
Sometimes. If a feature is already planned and you need it sooner, sponsored development is possible and the result ships to everybody rather than to you privately. We will not build a bespoke feature only you can use, because that is a consultancy business and this is a product business.
Something missing?
Tell us what would make this work for you. Requests are counted, and the count is what drives this page.
