Accounting, trial balance
Open a total, drill to the general ledger, drill again to the invoice that created it. Then try to edit a posted journal line, and watch it refuse.
Stock, item ledger
Pick any item and open its ledger. Every movement, in order, with the running valuation. The balance is the sum of the rows, not a stored number.
Reports, new report
Build a report from scratch over any entity. Columns, filters, grouping, totals, then switch it to a pivot and save it.
The company switcher
Top right. Switch to Northgate Depot Ltd and watch the chart of accounts, numbering and currency all change.
Payroll, August run
Open a payslip, then open the journal it posted. Then sign in as the employee and see what they can and cannot see.
Settings, modules
The Module Manager. Try switching on Live Chat and read the server requirement pre-check it shows you.
What the demo cannot show you
Speed. The demo runs on a shared cPanel account on purpose, because that is our floor, but it is one server being hit by everyone reading this page. Your own installation with one company on it will be considerably faster.
It also cannot show you the install, which is the thing most people are actually nervous about. That is what the 14-day trial is for, and the installation guide walks the whole thing with screenshots first.
