Who we are, and what happens if we disappear.
Gyro Web Services builds and sells Gyro Suite. We are a small independent software company, we have no investors, and our entire revenue is subscriptions from customers like you. This page covers who we are, how we make money, and the written commitment that matters most when you are putting your books into software from a company you have never heard of.
Because the good options all had a prerequisite.
Small businesses have two realistic choices for running their operations. Cloud suites are excellent and charge per person, so the bill rises every time you hire. Open-source ERP is free and needs a systems administrator, which most small businesses do not have and cannot justify. Between those sits a large group of companies who already pay for cPanel hosting, are perfectly capable of creating a database, and want their books on their own server.

- Install on hosting people already have, rather than on infrastructure they must learn
- Ship the ledger in the box, because invoicing without accounting is half a product
- Answer the awkward questions on the website rather than in a sales call

Our continuity commitment
An encoded product depends on a living vendor, which open-source competitors do not. That is a real asymmetry and it deserves a real answer rather than reassurance, so this is a written commitment rather than a sentiment:
If Gyro Web Services ceases operations, we will publish a permanent unlock that removes licence checking entirely, and we will give at least 90 days notice before it comes to that. Your installation will keep running with no licence server and no expiry.
Independently of that: your data is in a standard MySQL database on your own server throughout. You can dump it, query it, export every module to CSV, and hand the lot to another system or an auditor at any time, without asking us and without our servers being involved. That is true today and it does not depend on us keeping any promise.

Say the uncomfortable thing first
Our comparison pages name cases where a competitor is the better buy. Our requirements page publishes the volumes where shared hosting stops being enough. Our self-hosting page lists three reasons not to self-host.
Ship on a visible cadence
Dated changelog, public roadmap, and a note when a date slips. A product with no visible release history is a product you should assume is dormant, including ours.
Never hold data hostage
Exports and backups work on a lapsed licence, permanently. A vendor who can make your books unreadable has too much power over you, so we built it so that we cannot.
Publish security, do not promise it
A dated advisory log, a written disclosure process, a 24 hour acknowledgement target, and credit for reporters. Even when the log is empty, which today it is.
About the company.
How big is the team?
Small, and deliberately so. Small enough that the person answering your support email is the person who can fix the defect. Large enough to maintain a twelve-module product on a monthly release cadence. We are not going to inflate that with a stock photo of a team we do not have.
Why is it called Gyro Suite?
Gyro Web Services LLP builds it. A gyroscope holds its orientation no matter how the frame around it moves, which is a reasonable thing to name business software after and is where the logo comes from.
Are you profitable?
The business is funded entirely by subscription revenue with no outside investment, which means we do not need to grow at a rate that would force a price rise or a sale. It also means we grow slowly, and the roadmap reflects that rather than pretending otherwise.
Could you be acquired?
Any company can be. What we can tell you is that there are no investors with a liquidity preference or a board seat pushing for it, and that the continuity commitment above is written into the terms of service rather than living only on this page, so it survives a change of ownership.
Where are you based?
We operate as a distributed team and sell internationally in US dollars through a merchant of record, who issues the tax invoice for your jurisdiction. Company registration details are on the invoice for every subscription. For anything requiring a formal legal address, ask through the contact form and we will provide it.
